Hello, my name is Stacey and I am the owner of Zoo 2 U Professional Pet Care. 

 

My childhood always involved dogs, fish and rabbits although my Dad was allergic to cats. Throughout the years I have had numerous dogs, ferrets, birds and fish and upon moving into my first apartment away from home, I rescued a cat and he was everything I had hoped he would be.  My love of animals has currently made me the proud parent of two dogs, two cats, one ferret and fish.

 

I have always been passionate about animals, whether it was my family dog or the orangutans and rhinos that I cared for at the zoo.

 

At a young age, I knew I wanted to be a Zookeeper. Right out of college, I was hired for my first job as a Zookeeper.  Since 1994, I have had the privilege of working at three prestigious zoos around the country. 

 

Throughout my career, I gained extensive animal knowledge in many different areas, from emotional well-being and handling of various species to basic medical care, training and much more.  Concurrently, during my Zookeeping career, I even did side work as a pet sitter.

 

Now in phase two of my life, I am happy to bring to you my passion and experience all with a new purpose and a new career that I call Zoo 2 U.

 

Quality pet care is of utmost importance to me, in my home as well as yours.
